Our Joey Scouts had a wonderful time at Camp Kallaroo. The facilities are superb and well maintained; it is a much higher standard than any other Scout facilities that you will find. The grounds were big enough for us to play games and there is even a campfire circle. The building is air conditioned, leading to a very comfortable stay, even in the middle of summer. The big attraction for our Joey Scouts was the proximity to the beach at Burleigh Heads. The patrolled beach and beachfront park is walking distance away, close to shops and other facilities. I would recommend Camp Kallaroo; it is a great place to take your group. We’ll be back.
